Whistler, British Columbia – 2005

January 20 -23, 2005 (Whistler/Blackcomb, British Columbia):

Rain, rain, and more rain … pretty much the story line of the trip.  With 22 people coming from all over the map (Montana, Idaho, California, Washington, UT, New York) the coordination of rides was a bit of gong show.  I can’t speak for everyone, but with 4 guys over 6’2″ (all lugging ski gear) a  VW Jetta shouldn’t have been the vehicle of choice.  Just the same, I met up with Walt McBrier, Kyle Vos Strache, and Matt Semerau at the the Seattle airport and jumped in the car with Matt for the drive over the border to the land of the Canucks.
